Driver hit by feuding brothers speaks out

DENVER -- Two brothers are facing minor charges for causing a rollover crash while fighting in their car Thursday morning.  Their victim wants to know why more serious charges weren't filed.  The woman says she could have been killed in the accident.

The two brothers were fighting in their vehicle as they traveled on South Santa Fe Drive during the morning commute.  Police received multiple calls regarding the driver, who was speeding and weaving through traffic.  Officers were in pursuit of the brothers when the siblings slammed into Nancy Robertson, forcing her car off the road and into a fence.

According to Robertson, it's been a tough year for her and her daughter, but after losing her job a year ago things began turning around last week when she got a new job.

Robertson was on her way to work when the accident occurred.

Castle Rock family gets surprise visit from Santa

CASTLE ROCK, Colo. -- Six children from Castle Rock got the surprise of their life Thursday night when a special visitor showed up at their home dressed in red and white and bearing gifts.

Their parents were the winners of The Outlets of Castle Rock's "Take Santa Home for the Holidays" giveaway.  This is the second year of the contest, which started on November 19th.

More than 1,000 families entered and the winner was chosen at random on Dec. 10.  The prize is a visit from Santa Claus, who arrives with gifts for each child, a new set of pajamas for each, cookies and milk and a storybook to read.

This year, The Outlets invited FOX31 to come along.  What we found was a heartwarming story of a family who might not have had a Christmas this year if it wasn't for Santa's visit.
