The Colorado Division of Securities is investigating Brian Melchior Wellens of Colorado Springs for his role in what the division is calling a "multimillion-dollar investment scheme," The Gazette reports. Wellens collected money from investors, with the funds to be pooled to buy vacation homes in Colorado and elsewhere, according to the state.
