Crash on C-470 kills woman from Littleton | News

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. — A single-vehicle crash killed a 58-year-old woman on C-470 between Quebec and University Tuesday evening.

Westbound C-470 was closed for several hours while the Colorado State Patrol conducted the investigation.

State troopers say the woman from Littleton was driving her Honda Civic westbound at 7:50 p.m. when the car drifted into the median and slammed into the end of a guardrail.

Sgt. Mike Baker says she was wearing her seatbelt. “At this time, drug and alcohol use and excessive speed are not considered contributing factors in the crash,” Baker says.
